The Legislative Dinner provides members with the opportunity to engage fellow members\, legislators\, partners\, and ED-RED sponsors. This year we are excited to host our event at Stevenson High School! We look forward to an evening filled with insightful conversations and an engaging Town Hall with ED-RED Legislators. \nEvent Schedule:\n\n4:30 – 6:00 PM: Check-in\, Networking and Guided Tours by Stevenson Students\n6:00 – 7:00 PM: Dinner & ED-RED Announcements\n7:00 – 8:30 PM: Legislator Town Hall\n\n\n\n\n\nA special Thank You to our venue host\, Adlai E. Stevenson High School. It is a privilege to hold our event in a place that houses our why – Illinois Students. With a background in business and local government\, Senator Johnson has carried her passion for public service to Springfield. As the Chair of the Senate Education Committee\, she oversees all legislative measures impacting education. \nThis past session\, Senator Johnson successfully passed two ED-RED initiatives into law; including: Community College Remediation Data Sharing and Student Protections in Tenure Dismissal Hearings. Both of which\, prioritize students and support the school districts serving them. Her work and support of public education are honored and celebrated by ED-RED.
