Cathy Kedjidjian, APR, is president of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) and the Executive Director of Communications and Strategic Planning for ED-RED Member: Glenview School District 34. She previously served as President of INSPRA (Illinois) and Vice President of Communications Technology and Innovation for NSPRA. Cathy has worked in school public relations for 12 years; previously she was a freelance writer and communications consultant with experience in healthcare, wellness, nonprofits and political campaigns.

REIMAGINING HIGH SCHOOL
What if we haven’t been paying attention to the right things and instead following ‘conventional’ thinking about high school and student careers after high school that has never been completely true? Dr. Ken Wallace, the Superintendent of Maine Township High School District 207, will share District 207’s innovative individual career planning program to address the four big reasons why we need to reimagine high school now to better serve our students in the future.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH IN THE DIGITAL AGE
Social media provides unlimited access to information and connection but continues to be a complex balance between personal and professional amongst its users. With a presentation on Freedom of Speech in the Digital Age, the Robbins Schwartz team will dive into the recent Supreme Court rulings on the first amendment and the impact of social media on school district staff and board members.
